# How To Stake?

Before proceeding with staking your *SNX* tokens, we highly recommend reading this disclaimer carefully. Our *staking* contract has been *meticulously* designed to ensure the utmost *comfort* and ***security*** for our users.

**Staking Rules:**

1. **Minimum Staking Amount:** There is no minimum requirement for staking ***SNX*** tokens on *Syncronix*. You have the flexibility to stake any amount of ***SNX*** tokens you possess, allowing for participation regardless of token holdings.
2. **Lock-up Period:** When you approve staking of your ***SNX*** tokens, you agree to lock them up for a period of ***30 days***. During this time, your staked ***SNX*** tokens cannot be transferred or traded. This lock-up period enhances the stability and security of the staking ecosystem, ensuring a consistent and reliable *staking experience* for all *participants*.
3. **Early Unstaking Penalty:** Opting to unstake your ***SNX*** tokens before the completion of the ***30-day*** lock-up period will result in a penalty fee of ***10-15%***. This penalty discourages premature unstaking and encourages participants to honor the agreed lock-up duration. By adhering to the *lock-up period*, participants contribute to the overall *stability* of the *staking protocol* and help *maintain* its *integrity*.

**How To Stake?**

To begin staking your *SNX* tokens on *Syncronix App* and start earning rewards,&#x20;

**Follow these simple steps**:

1. **Go to the SNX dApp**: Visit the official *Syncronix* platform on the *SNX* dApp: `https://app.syncronixlabs.org` to initiate the *SNX* staking process.
2. **Connect Your Wallet**: Ensure you have a compatible *Ethereum wallet* such as *MetaMask* or *Trust Wallet*, and **connect your wallet** to the *Syncronix App* to enable seamless interaction with the **staking** contract.
3. **Enter Staking Amount**: Input the amount of *SNX* tokens you wish to stake in the designated field. Ensure the amount aligns with your staking preferences and ***investment*** strategy.
4. **Approve Staking**: Navigate to the staking section on the *Syncronix* platform. If you choose the percentage box for how much you want to stake or manually enter the amount, and if MetaMask shows your balance, we recommend clicking "**MAX**." This action allows the contract to determine the number of SNX tokens to stake, rather than staking your entire balance.
5. **Confirm Staking**: Once you've entered the desired staking amount, confirm the transaction through your *connected wallet*. Upon confirmation, your *SNX* tokens will be **successfully** staked, and you'll promptly start earning rewards based on the predefined staking parameters.
